Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on March 15, 2026

Irina Popa Food Photographer is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability. We aim to adhere as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Level AA), published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make Web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user-friendly to everyone.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility Adjustments on This Site

To help users navigate our portfolio and services, we have implemented several features, including:

  • Alt Text: We strive to provide descriptive alternative text for images to assist users with screen readers.

  • Navigation: A clear, consistent menu structure.

  • Platform Standards: Our site is built on the Wix platform, which utilizes HTML5 and ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes to support assistive technologies.

Limitations

As a visual-heavy photography portfolio, we recognize that some image-based content may still be undergoing optimization for screen readers. We are actively working to ensure every gallery is as accessible as possible.

Feedback
